This short list will give you the accessories you will need to purchase with your Air Compressor. Whether you are working on automobiles or building furniture, this is what you need to get started.
1. Air Compressor
The size and type of Air Compressor will depend on the type of work you will be doing and the air pressure required to do those projects. I prefer at least a 20 gallon Compressor with wheels and powered by 120 volts.
2. Air Hose
I recommend the 3/8 50 foot Air Hose with the reel when mounted in a shop environment. Purchase just the hose if your Air Compressor is going to be mobile or purchase both.
3. Air Fitting Coupler Kit
When purchasing the Air Fitting Coupler Kit do not skimp. Spend a little extra and get a god kit that is guaranteed not to leak.
4. Air Tools
Your selection of Air Tools will of course depend on the projects you are performing. They are also available in kits. These range from cheap to expensive and all I am going to say is you get what you pay for.
5. Pressure Regulator Lubricator Dryer
I know this sounds very technical. It is and it isn't. This little item is attached to your Air Line. You can adjust your air pressure and it separates the moisture from the compressed air coming out of your Air Compressor. Which in return means your Air Tools will be protected from moisture and last a whole lot longer.
Bonus
Air Tool Oil
This is an important item for your Air tools. Get you a bottle, it doesn't take much but it is needed on a daily basis.
